Kvarner is an MLC 2006 approved crew management company founded in 2014 by SeaQuest Shipmanagement as its manning arm to optimise the performance of SeaQuest managed vessels. Today Kvarner also supports shipowners beyond the SeaQuest managed fleet.
Together Kvarner and SeaQuest provide the advantages of a mid-sized manning agency and a ship manager serving a selected number of clients. We have access to a substantial pool of seafarers and at the same time are able to maintain the attention to detail which only a truly dedicated technical manager can achieve.
Our team consist of committed and result-driven professionals. They strive to deliver each of our clients with reliable, efficient and cost-effective solutions based on a flexible and customised approach.
From our offices in Croatia and the Philippines, we can select and provide the most suitable candidates for every crew role. Our pool is made up of skilled mariners of every level. These include deck and engine officers to ratings recruited from Croatia, Montenegro, Italy and the Philippines.
Our set-up is underpinned by high-level training centres in Croatia and the Philippines. They provide us with a substantial platform from which to select qualified and professional officers and crew. Through our training centres we have a complete overview of any individual’s competence and performance. This enables us to promptly match our clients’ needs with the right people.
If required, we can also recruit seafarers from other nations, such as Ukraine, Romania, India, Indonesia, China and Myanmar, from trusted selected partners.
We have a consistent policy maintaining high standards in crew health, work safety and environmentally friendly vessel operations.
Our working methods and procedures are based upon our quality management system which complies with the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006).
